Byrrh: a monument

In the early 20th Century the success of Byrrh was so great (a production of 38 million hectoliters per year) that the installation to ripen the wine would become bigger and bigger. It is no coincidence that there is an oak wood barrel In Thuir that can hold 1 million hectoliters: the biggest oak wood barrel in the world.

Victoria

The beautiful color and the contrasting aroma's make this drink a much loved digestif.

Add to a shaker that is 50% filled with ice:

4/10 White Vermouth
4/10 Gin
2/10 Mandarine Impériale
1 splash Grenadine Syrup

Shake well and serve in cocktail glasses. Decorate with half slice of lemon or pineapple.

Ines

This strong short drink is very suitable as aperitif... Olive mandatory!

Add to a shaker that is 50% filled with ice:

3/10 White Vermouth
3/10 Vermouth (Rosé)
3/10 Gin
1/10 Amaretto

Shake and server in cocktail glasses. Add one green olive.

 

Pussy

This surprising light combination in very refreshing.

Add to a large tumbler glass with ice:

6/10 Campari
4/10 Peach Liqueur

Top off with soda water or another carbonated soft drink and stir.

Dry Americano

Long drink: Aperitif.

Put in a mixing glass with some ice cubes:

5/10 Campari
5/10 Dry Vermouth

Stir and serve in tumbler glasses. Top off with soda water and decorate with a slice of lemon.

San-Campari

Short drink: aperitif.

Add to a shaker half filled with ice:

5/10 red Saint-Raphaël
5/10 Campari
1 splash of red curaçao

Stir well and serve in cocktail glasses.

Apricot

Short drink: digestif.

Add to a shaker half filled with ice:

2/10 Dry Vermouth
2/10 Vermouth (Rosé)
3/10 Apricot Liqueur
3/10 Gin
1 splash of apricot syrup

Shake well and serve in cocktail glasses.

 

Bi-Byrrh

short drink: Digestif.

Put in a mixing glass with some ice:

6/10 Byrrh
3/10 Cherry Brandy
1/10 cherry syrup

Stir and serve in cocktail glasses. Decorate with a a preserved cherry.

Addington

A refreshing long drink as aperitif or on warm days.

Put in a mixing glass with some ice:

5/10 Dry Vermouth
5/10 Red Vermouth

Stir well and serve in tumbler glasses. Add two ice cubes and top off with soda water.
