Tonus

This typically Normandic long drink is refreshing and very original.

Put in a large tumbler glass with ice cubes:

5/10 Calvados
3/10 Raspberry syrup
2/10 Mint Syrup

Stir well and top off with a sweet cider and 1 splash of mint syrup. Decorate with fresh mint leaves.

Normand Flip

Short drink: Aperitif.

Add to a shaker:

6/10 Calvados
4/10 Port (Ruby)
1 egg yoke
1 tsp. sugar

Shake and serve in cocktail glasses. Sprinkle with meg nut.

 

Normandy Golden Dawn

a strong long drink which is best suited for after dinner.

Add to a shaker that is 50% filled with ice:

3/10 Calvados
2/10 Gin
3/10 Orange Juice
2/10 Raspberry Juice
1 splash of grenadine syrup

Shake well and serve in small tumbler glasses. Decorate with a half slice of orange.

Parfum de Cidre

Long drink: at any time.

Put in a big tumbler glass:

7/10 Cider
3/10 Apple Syrup

Put in a mixing bowl:
3/10 Calvados
7/10 Cream
1 egg yoke
1 dash of Cinnamon

Mix the contents of the mixing bowl well and pour it onto the cider (don't stir). Serve with a straw.
