Rainbow

This creation, which is sometimes called 'pousse cafe' looks exquisite and taste wonderful.

Put in a tumbler glass with some ice:

4/10 Advocaat
2/10 Orange Juice

Stir well and add over the back of a spoon:

2/10 Blue Curaçao
2/10 Cherry Brandy

Serve with a straw.

Bonbon

Short drink: Digestif.

Add to a shaker half full of ice:

3/10 Benedictine
2/10 Coffee Liqueur
2/10 Peach Liqueur
1/10 Apricot Liqueur
2/10 Cream

Shake and serve in chilled cocktail glasses.

 

B and B

This recipe was so successful in the USA, in the early 19th century, that Benedictine started bottling instant B and B, although it was impossible to keep the 2 ingredients from blending.

Pour carefully into a small liqueur glass:

5/10 Benedictine
5/10 Cognac (or Brandy)

Make certain that the components don't mix.

Charmeur

Short drink: Digestif.

Put in an mixing glass with some ice cubes:

4/10 Amaretto
3/10 Kahlua (Coffee Liqueur)
3/10 Coconut Liqueur
2 tbsp. Cream

Stir well and serve in cocktail glasses. Sprinkle with instant coffee.
