The "Jenever' on the table

The special taste of the juniper berry is not only the main ingredient of Gin, it can also be found in many Scandinavian dishes. Juniper berries are indispensable in marinades, strong bouillon, while preparing game, pate or other pork based foods. Even the many dishes with sauerkraut get a lot more taste from this berry.

White Lily

short drink: aperitif.

add in a mixing glass:

3/10 Gin
3/10 White Rum
3/10 Cointreau
1/10 Pastis

Stir and serve in tumbler glasses.

London

short drink: aperitif.

add in a mixing glass with some ice:

6 cl. Gin
2 splashes of angostura
1/2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Marasquin

Stir and pour in cocktail glasses. Decorate with a slice of lemon skin.

 

Macca

A long drink as aperitif; refreshing... but quite strong!

Fill a shaker 50% with ice and add:

1/10 Crème de Cassis
3/10 Dry Vermouth
3/10 Red Vermouth
3/10 Gin

Stir and top off with soda water. Before serving squeeze a slice of lemon over the drink.

Carin

This short drink is extremely tasteful at any time of the day.

Put in a mixing glass with some ice:

6/10 Gin
2/10 Dubonnet
2/10 Mandarin Liqueur

Stir an serve in cocktail glasses.

St. Hubert

A Truly Exotic Long drink.

Put in a shaker that is 50% filled with ice and add:

2/10 Gin
2/10 Pisang Ambon
5/10 Pineapple Juice
1/10 Lemon Juice

Shake well and serve in tumbler glasses. Decorate with a slice of pineapple.
